Get to know us a little better...
The blueprints of the Zeta Delta Chapter of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Inc. began three years ago when (future) Brothers Dominique Nguyen and Phuong Le attended the chartering celebrations of the Epsilon Sigma Chapter in St. Petersburg, Florida. They began recruiting innovators and inspirational classmates who completed the Constitution and establishment process at the University of South Florida. And on October 31, 2013, nineteen pledges were pinned and the foundation of the Zeta Delta Chapter began. Under the watchful guidance of our pledge committee: Brother Marvin Smith, Brother Christine Heng, Brother Karl Healy, Brother Amanda Merino, and Brother Ketan Patel; as pledges we set out cementing this foundation and building the walls of our new Chapter.
Our dedicated faculty GCD's Dr. Jaclyn Cole and Dr. John Clark aided us every step of the way in establishing philanthropy and fellowship initiatives, and were the guiding forces behind our development as professionals and exemplary Brothers. The Brothers of Zeta Delta are also involved in, and hold executive positions in, many other organizations at the college, and work diligently toward advocating for and advancing the pharmacy profession. We are a family of strong leaders and passionate students, and as we grow in strength and number as a chapter we will continue to make a positive impact on campus, in the community, and in the profession. We may be a young chapter, but we have big plans for the future of our chapter at the University of South Florida, and for the National Fraternity

Zeta Delta Philanthropy
As pledges, and as Brothers, Zeta Delta Chapter participates in many philanthropy opportunities throughout the year. We love to raise awareness and give back to the community. Among these are the Heart Walk, Script Your Future, Relay for Life, Take Steps for Crohn's and Colitis, and our chapter threw a Halloween party for the residents of Hope Lodge at Moffitt. We also participate in the annual Drug Take Back Day and events for APhA-ASP's Patient Care Initiatives. Keep checking in with the webpage to see future dates and events that we will be participating in! |
Zeta Delta Brother Involvement
Advocacy and betterment of the pharmacy profession is a major component of the overall mission of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Inc. and our Brothers are involved in many other student organizations. We have several brothers holding executive positions in organizations such as the Student Leadership Council, APhA-ASP, PLS, SNPhA, CPFI and NCPA. All of our Brothers are actively involved in student organizations, and work diligently toward representing Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Inc. and student pharmacists in the profession. |
